How it works

1. Survey of surfaces

We take precise measurements directly on the vessel using physical templates or high-precision digital scanning. Our certified installers create the templates with professional equipment, ensuring an accurate survey of every surface and its specific curvature. Alternatively, the measurements can be taken by the boat owner using specialized semi-rigid plastic materials designed to faithfully reproduce the surfaces to be covered.
Questo processo ci permette di ottenere un adattamento preciso anche su superfici irregolari, curve e caratterizzate da geometrie complesse, assicurando la massima aderenza del materiale e un risultato finale pulito, preciso e impeccabile.

2. Design

The design is developed in software, adapting shapes and textures to the measured areas. Customization patterns are applied according to the customer’s choice. A visual proposal will be sent before production.

3. Manufacturing

We use CNC machines to cut SeaDek EVA sheets with high precision. The material undergoes rigorous quality control before being shipped.

4. Installation

The surface is thoroughly cleaned and prepared. Application is carried out using controlled positioning techniques to prevent bubble formation and ensure proper alignment of the parts.

5. Your New Boat

The result is a renovated, non-slip deck that is resistant to sun and salt water, improving both the comfort and aesthetics of the boat. Every detail reflects a high level of technical work, 100% adapted to your boat.

Design Your Custom Marine Flooring: The Best Synthetic Teak for Boats

At SeaDek Italia, we do more than just sell material: we install premium marine flooring. Using high-precision CNC technology for measurement and cutting, we tailor our synthetic teak to fit any boat size or model, from small skiffs to large yachts. Forget about constant maintenance; our high-density marine flooring is UV-resistant, non-absorbent, and highly stain-resistant, while also allowing for the inclusion of custom logos, names, and details.

Total Customization: Design Your Custom Boat Flooring

Choose from our exclusive finishes designed to maximize wet traction:

Brushed: The classic and elegant aesthetic, ideal for imitating wood.

Embossed: A robust and modern texture for maximum durability. Both options guarantee a non-slip boat floor that protects your family and crew, even in rough sea conditions.

Colors and Patterns: The Aesthetics of Teak, the Technology of EVA

We have the widest range of colors on the market to make your boat unique. To achieve the classic teak effect, we recommend warm combinations such as Mocha/Black, Camel, or Terra, which offer the elegance of wood with modern technology. If you prefer a sportier and more contemporary style, gray tones such as Storm Gray or Cool Gray are the current trend in modern lengths.

Being closed-cell foam (PE/EVA), our boat floors do not absorb water, fish blood, or dirt. The line pattern is achieved by CNC cutting, revealing the lower color for a flawless and durable finish that does not peel or fade.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What material is SeaDek flooring made of?

SeaDek is not a common rubber. It is a closed-cell EVA/PE (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) foam material. This specific formulation offers a surface that does not absorb water (waterproof), provides great cushioning, and is highly resistant to harsh marine environments.

Being closed-cell foam (PE/EVA), our boat floors do not absorb water, fish blood, or dirt. The line pattern is achieved by CNC cutting, revealing the lower color for a flawless and durable finish that does not peel or fade.

This is one of its biggest advantages over plastic synthetic teak or bare fiberglass. SeaDek has high thermal insulation; although it heats up during peak hours, it dissipates heat very quickly and never reaches temperatures that burn the skin, ensuring comfort when walking barefoot.

Maintenance is very simple. For regular cleaning, just use water and mild boat soap. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, dirt does not penetrate the pores.

Yes, it is highly stain resistant. If it gets dirty with fish blood or food, we recommend cleaning it as soon as possible. For difficult stains, there are specific EVA cleaners that restore the original appearance without damaging the material.
